Repeat SMP, The Void, and PVP Universe were discontinued in August 2026 following declining community activity and a change in the direction of the network.
Repeat SMP#
Repeat SMP was the original project and the foundation of the community.
The server launched on June 14, 2026 after several days of playtesting and preparation. The server initially reached its planned capacity of 40 members.
Over time, however, activity declined as players left or stopped playing. With the community becoming increasingly inactive, continuing to operate the SMP was no longer considered sustainable.
A planned Season 2 was subsequently cancelled, bringing the main Repeat SMP project to an end.
The Void#
The Void was created as a temporary filler project while PVP Universe was being developed.
It was never intended to become a permanent successor to Repeat SMP. Its purpose was simply to provide something for the community to play while development continued elsewhere.
With the network being discontinued, there was no longer a reason to keep The Void running.
PVP Universe#
PVP Universe was a dedicated PvP server being developed as the next major project.
The project was intended to move the network toward a new audience focused on PvP rather than traditional SMP gameplay.
Development required significant time, infrastructure, and resources. As the existing community became less active, it became increasingly difficult to justify continuing the investment required to complete and operate the project.
PVP Universe was ultimately discontinued before its full release.
Why Did It Shut Down?#
The shutdown was primarily caused by inactivity.
While Repeat SMP initially had strong interest and reached its planned player capacity, the active player base gradually declined. At the same time, maintaining multiple projects and continuing development of PVP Universe required significant time and resources.
Rather than continuing to operate servers without a sustainable player base, the decision was made to shut down the network.

Legacy#
Although the projects are no longer active, Repeat SMP remains an important part of the community's history.
