Repeat SMP players may appeal a ban, mute, inventory wipe, or other punishment when they believe it was issued incorrectly or when they wish to provide additional context.

- Join the Repeat SMP Discord.
- Read the Discord rules and verification instructions.
- Open a support ticket in the appropriate ticket channel.
- Select the punishment or ban appeal option.
- Provide the information requested by the ticket form.
- Wait for a staff member to review your appeal.
Information to Include#
Your appeal should include:
- Your Minecraft username.
- Whether you play on Java or Bedrock Edition.
- The punishment reason shown to you.
- The approximate date and time of the punishment.
- The name of the staff member who issued it, when known.
- A clear explanation of why you believe the punishment should be removed or reduced.
- Any screenshots, recordings, or other relevant evidence.
- An honest acknowledgement of the rule violation when you are appealing for a second chance.

Explanation: I understand why my mining activity appeared suspicious. I was using a resource pack that changed ore textures, but I was not using X-ray. I have attached the resource pack and a recording showing how it works.

Standard Punishment Durations#
The following table lists the standard punishment configuration. Staff may consider evidence, prior offenses, severity, intent, and other relevant circumstances when reviewing a case.

Permanent and Wipe Punishments#
Some offenses are considered severe enough to carry a permanent punishment or a progress wipe.
Ban Evasion#
Attempting to join Repeat SMP using another account while banned is considered ban evasion and may result in a permanent ban.
Doxxing and Private Information#
Publishing, threatening to publish, or distributing another person's private information is prohibited and may result in a permanent ban.
Severe Exploit Abuse#
Severe or deliberate abuse of an exploit may result in a permanent ban and progress wipe, particularly when the abuse harms the economy, server stability, or other players.
Duping and Macros#
Duping, macros, and scripts may result in both a ban and a wipe. An appeal should explain exactly what occurred and identify any affected items, accounts, or transactions.
Special Appeal Situations#
Inappropriate Skin
Change the inappropriate skin before submitting your appeal.
In your ticket, confirm that the skin has been changed and provide your Minecraft username so staff can verify it.
Disallowed Mods or Texture Packs
Remove the disallowed modification or texture pack before appealing.
Include the name of the modification, what it changed, and confirmation that it is no longer installed or enabled.
Open a Ticket on Discord
A punishment message may specifically instruct you to open a Discord ticket.
Join discord.gg/repeatsmp, open the appropriate support ticket, and include the punishment message shown when you attempted to connect.
Account Compromise
If another person accessed your account, include:
- When you discovered the compromise.
- What security changes you made.
- Whether you changed your Microsoft or Minecraft password.
- Whether you enabled two-factor authentication.
- Any evidence showing unauthorized access.
Account owners remain responsible for activity performed through their accounts, but this information may be considered during the review.
Possible Appeal Outcomes#
An appeal may result in one of the following outcomes:
